It’s exciting to reconnect with my professional colleagues in Public Relations world,
including my OG Oluebube A. Chukwu, Ph.D. MNIPR

I was inducted into and certified by the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations #NIPR in October 2012,
while working in the Corporate Communication unit of Benson Idahosa University, Benin City.
The encouragement came from by then boss, Dr. Adetunji Adeleye who was the head of the unit.

I got inducted during a Lagos convention.

Relationships between humans are one of the most complex areas in social sciences.

And it becomes more complex when you include relationships between organizations and their heterogeneous and amorphous publics and stakeholders.

Everyone feels that they can handle these relationships. That is the biggest challenge of the profession.

Even where there are professionals, the bigger wigs would often want to spell the words.

It usually ends in crises.

However, the job of PR always remains to create positive perceptions between organizations and their publics / stakeholders.
